1:72scale WWII

Completed most of the team bases just need to find two officers and their orderlies. So far I've collected PSC 6xM3 halftracks and five M4A1 75mm shermans and 3xM4A1 76mm.

Next on the list I need transport for all the teams and two 2,1/2 tone trucks, M10, M3 white scout car, M8 greyhound, 37/57mm gun and two landing crafts to carry all six squads as each one hold 36 men.

The length of the Antenna A-130-A on the Radio should be about I believe 33"" long, so I'll have to work out the scale and make out the adjustments.

Warlord Games - VolleyFire Lights

OMG....At the end of this video you will see a scratched built 28mm Timberframe Corner street I made it's about 4ft long, I used thin card to make individual slates, hand thatch two of the roofs, used 5mm foamboard for the walls, balsa wood for the framing and filled in the frames with white tile grout and used GW acrylics to paint it. The model is about 24 or 26 years old and is still as fresh as ever, oh and by the way this model is the baby, the original model was made in 15mm scale and yes I hand thatched that one as well. Here's the only photos I have of it and the rest.

This was the start of my model making in 15mm scale

All the houses were individually made so you could swap them about.

I must do a youTube on miniature Thatching....

1/72 scale WWII

I've been toying between 28mm & 1/72scale which is the most cost effective or should I say what can I afford with out upsetting her in doors. Well it has to be 1/72 of course, so where to begin, I was pointed in the direction of the plastic soldier company. I got hold of the late war US troop box along with the heavy support box. I need to put six squads of twelve men together. So far I've managed to build three squads together out of the troop box. Two of the squads have the M1917 added from the support box and of course the third squad is just twelve men. So to finish off the other three squads I need another troop box out of that one I need to make two squads of 12 men each, the third will have the third M1917 from the support box and then onto the troop's transport......

The M1917 gun team

Forgot to add the water can and rubber pipe - that's something to do over the weekend, so it should look something like this

This is the first stage of the watering can, used 2mm plasticard 3mm wide by 5mm high, short length of fishing line (10lbs) or fine wire.
Watch my channel of how I put it together. https://youtu.be/SvB2WR515tA

This 12man squad shows 2x NCO's, 1x Bar, 1x M1917 team - Gunner & Loader(rifleman), 7x Riflemen

 The NCO - unshaven

Second Assistant (NCO) on the knee, 5x Riflemen, 1x Bar

Painting an unshaven GI at this scale is not easy.

M1917 Team, 2x riflemen, The NCO, and in the background is a piece of terrain from my 20mm Bocage lane Range - the Gate section. More details and pics to follow.

Malifaux

Say hello to Sonnia

Here's her henchman samael Hopkins

Had to give him a hat as seen on his stat-card standing on a busted shed door.
Next - it took me a while to figure this one out till I painted it. The Purifying flame

Next up The Lone Marshal

Have a look at his pistol that's hand made when I took him out of the packaging his gun was there I did see it yet again the "neverborn in the workshop" anyway hope you like it.
Love these three fellas - The Death marshals

And to Finnish off, last but not least the witchling stalkers had to mount these

Now I did have an intro game with this crew let's say Sonnia took out three sisters and her self - what a blast.

Managed to get my Resurrectionist box crew painted up had them since Christmas.
Say hello to seamus, while in the process of undercoating with my airbrush I managed to lose his bag eaten by the workshop neverborn. Oh well I'll just have to make him another along with his lamp post.

Now this fine lady, she's not so keen on mice. But trying to get this blade to stand on a chair and tilt it at the same time was a challenge.

Here's seamus's three beauties

First belle on a wooden staircase

Second belle with the wall have to either add a street light or a drain pipe

And finally a belle standing on a pavement " it's like this ye see guv-na".
and seamus's copycat killer couldn't think how to basemount this wee fella.
